By the time you guys read this I’ll prob be in a plane on my way to [tag]Costa Rica[/tag]!! I’m going on a mission trip with my church, [tag]Seacoast Church[/tag]. This is my first [tag]mission trip[/tag]. I’m pretty excited!!
We’ll be doing medical and construction work. I know nothing about either! Fortunately there will be plenty of native children there that I’ll be able to entertain. For those who don’t know, I have an extreme soft spot for little kids. They give me a chance to act like a 5 year old…which is always a good time for me!!
Next week you’ll be treated to a variety of guest authors. I’d encourage you to give them the same response that you give me! Hook them up with conversation. Blow their minds! Most of all, make them feel welcome. All are blogging vets, but hey, let’s admit that blogging on FC.com can be a bit intimidating at times, right? I’d ask that you guys give them the same respect that you give me.
Side note: you’ll notice a new list on the FC main page. It will be titled “Top Commentators.” Hehe…tators. Anyhow, it shows which of you guys were the most involved commentators over the past 30 days. I’d like to offer a few people an opportunity to write on FC each month. I’ll take some names off that list and make the offers accordingly. Should be fun!
[tag]Christian[/tag] or not, keep me and my teammates in your thoughts and prayers next week. We’ll be up against a bit of adversity and many of us are rookies. I look forward to coming back and telling you guys about my amazing experience.
Till Monday, October 1!

Went to Costa Rica for my honeymoon for three weeks. It was a gorgeous place and I don’t think you’ll find it as bad as you think. Where are you going in Costa Rica? In any case, have a good mission trip and post pics!!! :d:d/:)>-^:)^:-c:-h
Buona fortuna!
I myself will be leaving on a mission the Galactic capitol next month.
You would the Orions would know to hire a good caterer but the dietary requirements of the Vegans are…
Dammit!! I keep saying too much!!!

Great work you are doing Bill.
Your are a soldier in building peace and understand. A job that is just as important as what our soldiers are doing in Afghanistan.
I don’t what the conditions will be like where you are going but it might be a good idea to bring along lot of mosquito repellent.
Actually in the rainy season (Right now is the thick of it)the mosquitoes aren’t quite as bad as the nice weather. It also depends upon where he’s as in Costa Rica. If it’s closer to the cities then no problem. If it’s out closer to the rain forests or the mountains it’s another matter.
Finally I get some down time…and everybody went back to the couch to veg! OKAY I will have to find some place else to debate until Bill gets back…thought you all were going to stay on?? C what happens when i think? :)>-
Have a good time. Only half a dozen comments to beat Tam to the fourth place spot.
