I’m an idiot. I like to write. I like to inspire. I like to challenge people. I’m probably making enemies by hosting this website. I’m okay with that.
I write a majority of the posts on this site. You can read more about me on the My Story page and at the FAQ page.
I love sports (Detroit/Michigan). I love Lost (the tv show). I love my church.
I enjoy being sarcastic. I love Jesus. I must be obsessed with myself, being that I’ve started every sentence with the word “I.” Crap!

I believe in friendly people and Bill was kind enough to invite me to be a guest blogger - so here I am :)
I’m a stay at home Mom and almost an atheist. I was an evangelical Christian for about 17 years - I’m very familiar with that world. I like it when Christians, atheists and people in between can figure out how to get along with each other.
When I’m not here you can find me hosting Conversation at the Edge for Off The Map.

I’m an Atheist trying to understand what makes people believe. In person I am neither friendly nor Christian so being invited to be a guest writer here is somewhat ironic.
As a bit of background I am a father of four who lives on the south coast of England with my children and Hilary. We aren’t married. *gasp* I work as a techy nerd (my actual job title) and have great trouble switching my brain off which is one reason that I’m here.
I dislike absolute, being told what to do or think and sweet food. I like discussion, honesty and cheese.

So basically there are hardly any people of color on this site and NAACP called Bill and he had to cover his tail so that’s why I’m really here…. JUST KIDDING.
Alright. I’m 22 and I just started a Master’s program in Maryland in Counseling Psychology. Been raised in church all my life but really didn’t do anything with my faith until I went to college. All four years were crazy but there seems to be a pattern for all of this. God’s plan I guess.
I’m not normal and I’m kind of proud of it now. I love spending time with people and eating and if the two are combined all the better. I don’t like hypocrites and tools but then again who does?

I live in the beautiful Northwest…I’ve been happily married to my gift of God for almost 13 years now and love him more each day.
I have recently begun a new phase in my walk with the Lord known as empty nest syndrome. We have three great kids (young adults) and God has them each on their own walk, living their own testimony. Worship is my passion and I live to be in His presence.
I love to travel, and speak to people about Gods grace and who He truly is….I love to see lives changed. Be happy that Jesus is on the throne and we are not……it works so much better that way, and provides a much more fulfilling walk with God.

Been saved around 3 years. Actually came to know about God via radio, which is a different twist. Wife, new baby… life is good. My face isn’t nearly as blurry as in that picture. Formerly addicted to just about everything but now I’m free. A little sarcastic and overly-competitive sometimes but I mean no harm. :)

I’m a missionary. But I probably do not match the image in your mind when you think of a missionary. I don’t have a beard and I do have a social life. I know more about pop culture than Hebrew culture. I like kids, but my wife and I plan on having a couple, not eight.
What really gets my blood pumping is politics and college basketball. Maybe I’m not the “typical” missionary - whatever that means - but I try to do the two things that all missionaries and Christ followers should do: love God and serve people.
