Do You Twitter?
Do you Twitter? I do.
“What if heck is Twitter?” you might ask.
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send “updates” (or “tweets”; text-based posts, up to 140 characters long) to the Twitter website, via short message service (e.g. on a cell phone), instant messaging, or a third-party application such as Twitterrific or Facebook.
Basically Twitter is a simple website that allows you to write short notes indicating your status, what you are doing, or something along those lines (kinda like a Facebook status). I’ve also used mine to write little quotes or something small, yet significant, that’s on my mind. You can follow your friends (or enemies) and receive their Twitter updates as well. I just started using Twitter a few weeks ago and have completely fallen in love with it. Why? No freakin’ clue.
If you haven’t already noticed, I’ve added a white little bubble-quote type thing in the right column of FriendlyChristian.com that always shows my most recent Twitter status. Click here to see a screenshot of what I’m talking about.
If you’d like to stalk me and follow me on Twitter, go here and click ‘Follow.’
If you haven’t signed up for a Twitter account yet, you’ll need to register first. Go here to register. It’s quick, fun, and actually quite addicting.
Happy Twittering!

Just started twittering yesterday. I’m in the same boat as you, Bill: I love it, but have no idea why!
