Lee Strobel At FriendlyAtheist.com
I’m way behind on reading the blogs that I subscribe to - usually am. Do you guys fall behind too?
Anyhow, I just saw that ex-atheist turned Christian author Lee Strobel (Case For Christ, Case For Faith, etc) recently commented on the FriendlyAtheist site. Wow!
In response, Hemant contacted Mr. Strobel and asked if he’d be willing to field some questions on the FriendlyAtheist website. The author agreed. Check out the post here.
Yesterday’s American Idol post (updated information at bottom of post) brought in a boatload of new readers. As I watched them arrive on the site I wondered…
- Who could this person be?
- What is her story?
- How well have I represented myself on FriendlyChristian?
- How will this [probable] Christian react when she reads the comments of all you scary atheists?
- Will she ever come back to FriendlyChristian?
Chances are:
- It’s most likely just some “unimportant” random person
- She’s probably bored at work/home, passing time, and will never come back to my site

Here’s the truth: you have no idea who is gonna end up reading your writings. That’s both exciting and intimidating, isn’t it?
As for me, I’m just gonna go ahead and assume that I’m writing for an audience of one.

I’ve read The Case for a Creator by Strobel. I didn’t think much of it.
Oh yeah… I’m subscribed to all sorts of political blogs, but I’m so bored with the Primaries these days that I can’t be bothered with them right now. Hence my looking elsewhere on the globe for interesting politics these past couple months, I guess…

Hemant posted a follow up (might have been a comment in that thread) saying that Lee’s got the questions and is planning on replying, he’s just well busy atm. having read some of Strobel before tho, can’t say i’m too bothered as to if + when he’s able to respond…!
I’m disappointed nobody asked Strobel why he keeps repeating the blatant lie about Vardaman and his magic invisible Roman-J letters.
