***Warning - gross***
It’s no secret that I’m dissatisfied with my prayer life.
I had to pee - badly. While peeing I though to myself, “Man, I’m sure glad I don’t have any problems peeing (blockage, pain, etc).” Are you like me where you never realize just how good it feels to be healthy until you’re sick/something doesn’t work correctly?
So I thanked God. “God, thank you for allowing my body to function properly so I can pee without anything hurting.”
Was this “pee pee” moment the moment that forever changes my prayer life? Or am I just happy that I said “pee pee” to God?
Win/win if you ask me ![]()
Boy, if this post doesn’t sky rocket our subscribe count, I don’t know what will (sarcasm noted??? good.)!!

Ha ha ha, I think I laughed so hard I did a little pee myself. :”>
Seriously though, taking too much joy when your holding onto…um…the organ you pee from…will make you go blind. At least that’s what I read before my eyesight started to fail.
Hear you bro,
“Thankfulness” and “Gratitude” have been words on my mind for the past couple weeks - mostly my lack thereof and almost jealousy of people who are so passionately greatful. You know the kind.
Just came off the flu and our family has been sick for about 2 months now. I thought a couple days ago, “When I’m healthy, I need to remember how much this sucks and how great it is to feel healthy”.
And it is great to pee - I’m going to go do that right now and give thanks
Judaism beat you to it Bill - there’s a Jewish prayer to say after going to the bathroom and as best I recall from what I’ve read, the purpose of the prayer is to thank God for bodily functions which work well.
@hov
HAHAHA. Nice.
@Matt
I hear ya. EVERY time I get sick I tell myself, “I’m not gonna take my health for granted anymore.” Then I get better and take it for granted like it’s going out of style. I hope your pee went well for ya
@Helen
DARNIT!! Way to spoil my party :((
Bill, I didn’t spoil it - I just pointed out that you’re in good company
I think we (men of course) should remember to thank God for allowing us to “stand up” when we pee. That truly is our mark as men, or at least according to some!:o
